Getting Back To Our Roots

27 Jun

Our little city has a Franco American festival every year. Due to the economy it has changed over the past few years. Location, less booths and no carnival rides. Somethings that have never changed are the fireworks, delicious French food, live music and other performers.
I have been attending this festival all my life. I remember looking forward to it for months as a child.
Today Jayden went to his first La Kermesse! It didn’t have quite as much pizzaz as it did 20 years ago. It did have pony rides, a petting zoo and bounce houses!
